A full bubble update is on tap for later tonight.  While in Vegas, I was able to sneak in a couple of college basketball bets.   Here's how it broke down, with my bets noted in parentheses:

Chattanooga (+21) 95, Davidson 100:  I don't know why this one jumped out at me, probably because Davidson doesn't play enough defense to beat anyone by 21.

Texas A&M 76, Alabama (-3) 68:  OT losses sting for gamblers, only because the extra period gives you second life for a miracle cover.  No dice on this one.

Xavier 76, Cincinnati (+2) 66:  Why oh why did I bet on Cincinnati?  I thought Xavier's Gravy Train was over, but the biscuit wheels remained intact against an absolutely terrible Cincinnati team.  Combine the bad turnovers, no shooting ability, cluelessness on offense with a head coach that looks like Scott Hamilton, and I am not a Bearcat believer.  They just plain suck.

Murray State (+17.5) 64, Missouri 75:  Actually a decent win for Mizzou, but 17.5 points for Murray State is a bargain.  They were very competitive, which was enough to win the bet, and probably a little bit of national respect.

South Alabama (+8) 60, Mississippi State 79:  Strangely this one was put on the board as 79-70, which threw me into a fit thinking I had lost my three team parlay by one point.  Anyways, South Alabama probably would have liked a better showing.  Being competitive in these games is a must for bubble teams.
