After I switched off the TV on Sunday and began to digest the complete bull_hit snub of Virginia Tech being left out of the NCAA Tournament, I went into my normal routine of sports disappointment.  I took the dogs for a nice long walk to clear my head.  I called friends and relatives to vent my frustration.  I figured I would be less pissed off in the morning once I understood why everything went down the way it did.  It is now three days later, and if anything, I am more pissed off now than I was on Sunday.  Virginia Tech was jobbed, no doubt about it.  Unfairness and dishonest attitudes towards bias are unacceptable to me, as they should be for others.  The entire Selection Committee is full s_it.

Wednesday, David Glenn of ACC Sports Journal interviewed Wake Forest AD Ron Wellman, and Wellman made the outrageous claim that Virginia Tech had only "one or two top-50 wins" (it was three actually) and "none on the road" (I guess Georgia Tech doesnt count?).  Bias and elitism is one thing, but if you add in staggering incompetance, we have the makings of a long-term, permanent hatred of Wake Forest, Ron Wellman, the ACC and the Selection Committee on our hands.  This was bull_hit, plain and simple.  I will never - for the rest of my life - get over this or accept the excuses.  I prefer to hold a grudge.
