It was all supposed to change when Virginia Tech beat Duke on Saturday. No more bubble. No more worrying. No more dicussion. A simple game against a hungry Boston College team ended all that. With a devastating loss in hand, the Hokies now have to venture out on the road to face Clemson, who are also desperate for a win to boost their NCAA chances.
In the end, nothing has changed. America's Bubble Team is back on the Bubble.
For those of you who have seen and enjoyed the South Park episode where the men of the town start a huge pile of...you know...to keep the aliens from the future from taking their jobs - you know exactly what I mean. There will be no coronation for Virginia Tech fans, no sigh of relief, no relaxation. Back to the pile!
